Test the fit of garments on multiple sizes and shapes
Market and test designs in any color or fabric before proceeding with production
How does the process work? The actual 2D pattern is used to create the 3D sample. We designate which seams to sew together and the software stitches them together onto an avatar. The avatar can be adjusted in size and measurements to match your organization’s standards. The physical features (skin, hair, etc) of the avatar can also be changed to reflect your market. If you don’t like the appearance of the avatar for presentations, we can send you images to review with and without the avatar.

Do 3D virtual samples work better for some products?
The easiest products to create in 3D are simple garments with limited layers or hardware. The hardest are those like outerwear with layers of insulation, lining and hard trims. The good news is we like challenges! Share your designs for review. The only products that cannot be created in 3D are knit to shape garments like sweaters.
How do 3D virtual samples change my development process?
Using virtual samples can eliminate many costly sample iterations and allow you to visualize the actual style faster. You will still need to review at least one physical sample, but multiple iterations of samples can be eliminated. Weeks are removed from the development cycle!
